Bolivar's NTR Canoe Livery offers hiking on Ohio's Buckeye Trail, the Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath, and the newly accessible Ohio & Erie Canal Corridor (referred to as Ohio's Canalway) that runs from Cleveland to Zoar and beyond.

The Ohio & Erie Canal Corridor runs just behind our property and is accessible by a flat, 5 minute bike ride. With more than 70 miles of the Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail, as well as many more miles of connector trails, you’ll find biking, hiking, walking and running can be a wonderful adventure.

Camping in our primitive riverside campground is free to anyone who paddles with us. Why not make a 2-day adventure out of it? Paddle with us one day, enjoy our complimentary camping, and bike or hike on the towpath the following day.

There is a local bike shop that we highly recommend if you are interested in buying or renting equipment: Bert’s Bike and Hike in downtown Bolivar.
